Salvia Satchet

Late this summer I received a bouquet of flowers handpicked from the field. One of the types of flowers resembled lavender, but it wasn't.  It was salvia.

Once the bouquet had dried out, the little buds began falling off the stem. They were so pretty and delicately scented, I didn't want to throw them away, so I tried making a sachet.

I shook all the little buds off the stem and put them inside one of these pretty nylon-mesh drawstring bags.

The bag was lying in wait after it'd served it's purpose as a wedding favor, toting candies around and then just a piece clutter, until now. The salvia scent is subtler than lavender and just different, but still nice.
