I thought that maybe a pacifier clip with the baby's name would cut down on misunderstandings of her name. (We did know we were in for this when we named her). I went to the bead store and bought these clay letter beads. We had these small wooden beads leftover from when R. was making rosaries a few years ago. I strung it on beewaxed hemp jewelry cord. If I'd been thinking, I would have tied a little knot between each bead for safety and flexibility, but it took so long to thread two strands through each bead that I didn't want to bother.
The one below is a clip for a friend's new baby boy.
