My Bike is Back!

I sent my dear Schwinn Varsity out to Oregon on the Greyhound bus at Christmastime and had been neglecting to retrieve it for...the last 4 months. I don't know why--I've gotten really lazy driving everywhere I guess. That, and it was cold and usually raining until one week ago. But now I finally have it again, and today my upstairs neighbor lent me his ratchets and air pump and that baby is ready to ride! Even the mysterious bulge in my back tire is gone! I can't tell you how wonderful it felt to glide down to the library this sunny, Saturday afternoon.

Hopefully I can reduce my gas consumption now, since I can ride to work and the garden.
