Bud Vase Garland

About 15 years ago my sister bought a box of tiny, stopper-less, glass bottles at a yard sale. No one could think of the thing to do with them. That purchase became kind of a family joke--100 useless tiny glass bottles for $3, who could resist?!

This fall I went into an upscale home & garden store in Eugene and found a string of tiny bud vases--a garland of sorts. When I was home in MA last week, I found those teeny bottles in the basement and made my own!

I used a thin craft wire to string them, which is actually too prone to snapping to really be suitable. Next time I'll try to get the bottles to hang straighter and maybe use twine. I like the concept!
