Stitch It.

I'm at the tail end of a lovely trip to Chicago for a dear friend's wedding. While here, I learned something new: how to quilt by hand. It's not hard, but I'd never come up with such technique myself. My former housemate showed me and we worked on my wedding quilt a while. It'd be great if quilting circles made a comeback--it's like having a party except you can be productive instead of just eating snacks!
There are so many great handwork skills to have--seeing the quilt from this weekend's wedding made me aspire to learn more embroidery stitches. You can make beautiful things!
