It's the most wonderful time of the year!

It's the beginning of gardening season! Rob and I won the lottery--the Eugene Community Garden plot lottery, that is, which is as good as any kind of lottery in my opinion, so we'll have a space about a mile and a half from our home. We also have one small bed right behind the apartment building, where we'll plant stuff we want to harvest on the spur of the moment. Saturday, we dug up all the clover and worked the soil in the little bed. (Well, Rob worked it--there's only one pitchfork and I had homework!). Now there are salad greens seeds in the ground!!
